What is the SFSIC?
Since 1974, the French Society for Information and Communication Sciences (SFSIC in French) has federated the actors of teaching and research in Information and Communication Sciences (SIC in French). With around 400 members, the association develops, supports, and promotes projects benefiting our scientific community.
Through its scientific events, its publications and the support given to projects developed within our field, the SFSIC creates opportunities for collective reflection. It represents the actors of teaching and research in SIC to higher education institutions and its partners within and outside the university, in France and abroad.
Why join the SFSIC?
To actively contribute to the development of teaching and research in Information and Communication Sciences.
To be involved in the work and decisions of the association.
To be able to promote your projects, your events, your reflections and to be kept informed of initiatives concerning your favorite themes.
SFSIC publications
The SFSIC assists and advertises debates on which Information and Communication Sciences researchers can mobilize their expertise. As such, it coordinates two complementary publications as well as books and proceedings to extend the debates held in the framework of scientific events.
