Pleinement inscrites dans le domaine musicologique, ces recherches peinent n\u00e9anmoins \u00e0 trouver une place dans le champ universitaire francophone \u2013 le colloque pionnier Musiques de s\u00e9ries t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9es, tenu \u00e0 Nantes en 2013, n\u2019ayant pas \u00e9t\u00e9 suivi d\u2019un mouvement d\u2019ampleur. De leur c\u00f4t\u00e9, les television et series studies connaissent un essor important dans la recherche en fran\u00e7ais, d\u00e9veloppant des perspectives th\u00e9oriques fond\u00e9es sur une narratologie renouvel\u00e9e&#160;: les questions esth\u00e9tiques ou de r\u00e9ception (Benassi, 2000 et 2020, S\u00e9pulchre 2017, Goudmand 2018, Favard 2019) y c\u00f4toient des travaux sur les s\u00e9ries \u00e0 succ\u00e8s (Star Trek, Game of Thrones), notamment dans les fan studies (Bourdaa 2015), ainsi que certaines r\u00e9flexions sp\u00e9cifiquement consacr\u00e9es aux s\u00e9ries des genres dits de l\u2019imaginaire (fantasy et science-fiction en premier lieu), dont l\u2019importance m\u00e9diatique actuelle est ind\u00e9niable, et qui impliquent des modes sp\u00e9cifiques de construction des r\u00e9cits et des univers (Favard 2018, Machinal 2020, Breton 2023). Les ressorts sonores et musicaux de ces genres ont fait l\u2019objet de nombreux travaux, souvent centr\u00e9s sur la science-fiction et le cin\u00e9ma (Hayward 2004, Whittington 2007, Bartkowiak 2010, Reddell 2018), parfois en dialogue avec les th\u00e9ories de la SF (Huz 2025), mais il reste \u00e0 explorer davantage comment des logiques g\u00e9n\u00e9riques particuli\u00e8res (celles de la fantasy, du fantastique et de la SF) impliquent certains usages propres du sonore et de son rapport \u00e0 l\u2019image.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est pour s\u2019emparer de ces perspectives, dans la continuit\u00e9 d&rsquo;un colloque r\u00e9cent (Favard, Michot, Huz 2023) que les revues \u00c9mergences. Son, musique et m\u00e9dias audiovisuels, ReS Futurae et TV\/Series feront para\u00eetre \u00e0 l\u2019automne 2026 des num\u00e9ros distincts, coordonn\u00e9s autour d\u2019un m\u00eame enjeu et participant d\u2019un m\u00eame projet&#160;: penser ensemble musique et son, s\u00e9ries t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9es et genres de l\u2019imaginaire, en les croisant \u00e0 partir des probl\u00e9matiques, th\u00e9ories et m\u00e9thodes que chacun a fait na\u00eetre dans son champ respectif. Il s\u2019agira ainsi de <strong>repenser la po\u00e9tique sonore des s\u00e9ries de l\u2019imaginaire \u00e0 travers des approches interdisciplinaires m\u00ealant musicologie, \u00e9tudes cin\u00e9matographiques et recherches sur les cultures m\u00e9diatiques<\/strong>. \u00c9changes m\u00e9thodologiques et exp\u00e9rimentations critiques permettront ainsi de faire \u00e9merger de nouvelles approches de l\u2019analyse du son et de la musique dans les s\u00e9ries de l\u2019imaginaire, au sens large.<\/p>\n<p>Cet appel invite aussi les auteur\u00b7rices \u00e0 se saisir du corpus propos\u00e9 pour <strong>l\u2019\u00e9largir \u00e0 d\u2019autres r\u00e9flexions et des objets connexes<\/strong>. Ainsi, l\u2019ensemble des fictions s\u00e9rielles impliquant le son, comme les jeux vid\u00e9o, les podcasts, les fictions audio immersives, etc., pourront offrir des contrepoints \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude des s\u00e9ries TV. Le cin\u00e9ma, dans la mesure o\u00f9 il fa\u00e7onne les imaginaires g\u00e9n\u00e9riques et s\u00e9rialise certains traits ou attentes sonores, est susceptible de fournir des \u00e9clairages compl\u00e9mentaires. Les contributions pourront \u00e9galement se saisir d\u2019aires culturelles encore trop peu explor\u00e9es, telles que la Chine, l\u2019Inde ou le Moyen-Orient. Il sera aussi possible d\u2019ouvrir la r\u00e9flexion aux rapports que fantasy, SF et fantastique entretiennent avec des esp\u00e8ces g\u00e9n\u00e9riques proches (l\u2019horreur, la fiction climatique, le genre superh\u00e9ro\u00efque, etc.). Le regard musicologique pourra renseigner plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment des d\u00e9marches compositrices singuli\u00e8res, des filiations entre cr\u00e9ateur\u00b7ices, ou des inventions organologiques.<\/p>\n<p>Les <strong>propositions<\/strong>, \u00e0 envoyer pour le <strong>1er septembre 2025<\/strong>, se composeront d\u2019un titre, d\u2019un r\u00e9sum\u00e9 (2000 \u00e0 4000 signes, espaces comprises), d\u2019une \u00e9ventuelle bibliographie, et d\u2019une notice biographique (750 signes maximum).
