g\u00e9opolitiques et \u00e9conomiques que sociales et artistiques, l\u2019Europe d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui se construit d\u00e9sormais surtout dans son rapport aux \u00ab&#160;Autres&#160;\u00bb (Proche et Moyen-Orient, Maghreb, Afrique) et doit, pour \u00e9chapper \u00e0 un point de vue \u00ab&#160;internaliste&#160;\u00bb (E. Loyer) r\u00e9ducteur et simpliste, s\u2019appr\u00e9hender comme un espace de circulation des repr\u00e9sentations et d\u2019\u00e9changes de pratiques culturelles, marqu\u00e9 par des exp\u00e9riences m\u00e9morielles propres ou import\u00e9es au gr\u00e9 des chass\u00e9s-crois\u00e9s multidirectionnels et prot\u00e9iformes avec les peuples de ses marges, en particulier ceux du pourtour de la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Issus tant de l\u2019Europe que de ses marges, se produisant \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur comme \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur des fronti\u00e8res de l\u2019Europe, les artistes en tous genres \u2012 documentaristes, sc\u00e9naristes, romanciers, dramaturges, danseurs, chor\u00e9graphes, musiciens, com\u00e9diens, humoristes, professionnels des arts vivants, performeurs etc. \u2012, impr\u00e9gn\u00e9s de multiples cultures, s\u2019engagent d\u00e9sormais pour des causes \u00e0 dimension bien plus large que simplement nationale&#160;: r\u00e9inventant le concept d\u2019engagement, ils se r\u00e9inventent eux-m\u00eames et r\u00e9inventent leur(s) art(s). Ces formes d\u2019engagement s\u2019inscrivent dans les red\u00e9finitions de la culture europ\u00e9enne, elle aussi en pleine transformation. S\u2019exprimant selon des modes vari\u00e9s et en des langues multiples, s\u2019adressant d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 des publics h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e8nes aux revendications changeantes et complexes, les artistes d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui se doivent, s\u2019ils veulent retenir l\u2019attention de leurs audiences potentielles, de d\u00e9livrer des messages, non pas fond\u00e9s uniquement sur du pathos, mais ayant diff\u00e9rentes fonctions&#160;: communiquer, informer, critiquer, d\u00e9noncer, d\u00e9fendre, mobiliser et, par effet, s\u2019engager et engager les autres, entendus non plus comme des membres issus de la m\u00eame communaut\u00e9 qu\u2019eux-m\u00eames, mais comme \u00ab&#160;leurs Autres&#160;\u00bb, distincts par leur origine, leur langue, leur histoire, leurs motivations, leurs aspirations notamment\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Il s\u2019agira, dans ce colloque, de mettre au jour les formes esth\u00e9tiques, tant novatrices que simplement r\u00e9adapt\u00e9es, les modes contemporains et les nouveaux motifs d\u2019engagement euro-m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en, d\u2019en analyser, dans le cadre th\u00e9orique des <em>Border studies<\/em>, les effets, qu\u2019ils soient notoires ou non, d\u00e9lib\u00e9r\u00e9s ou non, ainsi que les questions de la distanciation ou de la non-distanciation, de la mise en forme de ces \u0153uvres artistiques et de leur adaptation aux publics pour \u00ab&#160;mieux vivre ensemble&#160;\u00bb, concept \u00e0 discuter \u00e9galement. Il s\u2019agira enfin de comprendre comment sont transmis ces savoirs artistiques, parfois militants ou activistes, relatifs \u00e0 des questions de soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et, par cons\u00e9quent, susceptibles d\u2019int\u00e9resser plusieurs pans de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et d&rsquo;envisager quels sont les lieux et places qui peuvent remplir cette fonction, que le public soit initi\u00e9 ou non.<\/p>\n<h4>Les propositions pourront notamment s\u2019inscrire dans l\u2019un des axes suivants&#160;:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>(D\u00e9)construction du concept de l\u2019engagement<\/li>\n<li>(D\u00e9)construction des genres artistiques et des formes esth\u00e9tiques<\/li>\n<li>D\u00e9)construction du dialogue interculturel dans un contexte de d\u00e9racinement\/r\u00e9-enracinement, d\u00e9-\/re- territorialisation<\/li>\n<li>(D\u00e9)construction de l\u2019identit\u00e9 (supra)nationale<\/li>\n<li>Transferts culturels et r\u00e9invention de l\u2019engagement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Les objets d\u2019\u00e9tude \u2012 qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de productions culturelles et\/ou artistiques (th\u00e9\u00e2tre, cin\u00e9ma, performance multilinguale, documentaire, presse, BD, r\u00e9seaux sociaux, caricature, s\u00e9ries t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9es, musique, chansons populaires, danse, beaux-arts, iconographie, peinture, photo-collage, publicit\u00e9, r\u00e9seaux sociaux, graffiti, <em>street art<\/em>, stand up, peinture urbaine, &#8230;) \u2012 seront \u00e9tudi\u00e9s en tant que productions de la culture europ\u00e9enne en reconfiguration, produites \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de l\u2019Europe ou depuis ses marges m\u00e9diterran\u00e9ennes (Proche et Moyen-Orient, Maghreb, Afrique), issues des contacts entre les artistes europ\u00e9ens et les artistes extra-communautaires m\u00e9diterran\u00e9ens, immigr\u00e9s ou non. Les productions \u00e9tudi\u00e9es pourront provenir de toute r\u00e9gion du monde, et plus particuli\u00e8rement de toute l\u2019Europe, du Proche et du Moyen-Orient, de l\u2019Afrique du Nord ou de la P\u00e9ninsule arabique.<\/p>\n<p>Les approches pourront \u00eatre th\u00e9oriques ou analytiques, de m\u00eame que les m\u00e9thodologies pourront \u00eatre diverses \u2012 structurale, situationnelle, contextuelle, r\u00e9f\u00e9rentielle, sociolinguistique, stylistique, s\u00e9miotique, interactionnelle et intertextuelle.
