Une des raisons rel\u00e8ve du fait que la musique occupe souvent une place secondaire dans l\u2019analyse de films. De m\u00eame, les sp\u00e9cialistes de la musique s\u2019int\u00e9ressent rarement au cin\u00e9ma. N\u00e9anmoins, un nombre croissant de travaux existent sur la musique en tant que forme de r\u00e9sistance culturelle en p\u00e9riode de bouleversements politiques, comme lors des manifestations dans le monde arabe et en Iran, o\u00f9 les voix des ic\u00f4nes musicales du pass\u00e9 ont r\u00e9sonn\u00e9 avec l\u2019humeur r\u00e9volutionnaire du moment, et que les musiciens sont devenus des symboles contre toute oppression politique. La censure et le contr\u00f4le de la production musicale et audiovisuelle ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 au centre des attentions. Les th\u00e9oriciens du cin\u00e9ma ont parall\u00e8lement commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 aborder l\u2019id\u00e9e de l\u2019importance de la musique dans le d\u00e9veloppement du cin\u00e9ma dans la r\u00e9gion et dans les genres musicaux traditionnels, ainsi que de la participation des stars musicales dans le cin\u00e9ma \u00e9gyptien populaire. Cependant, ces axes de recherche sont rarement r\u00e9unis et explor\u00e9s en profondeur.<\/p>\n<p>Ce num\u00e9ro de Regards cherche \u00e0 se d\u00e9marquer des \u00e9tudes existantes en mettant l\u2019accent sur la dimension interdisciplinaire de la cr\u00e9ation musicale et de la place des musiciens dans le cin\u00e9ma et dans d\u2019autres m\u00e9dias de la r\u00e9gion MENA. Premi\u00e8rement, il vise \u00e0 questionner la place de la performance musicale dans la narration cin\u00e9matographique. Comment le cin\u00e9ma repr\u00e9sente-t-il la vie des musiciens&#160;? Quelles questions d\u2019ordre \u00e9thique ou id\u00e9ologique soul\u00e8ve-t-on quand les musiciens agissent et jouent des versions d\u2019eux-m\u00eames, en mettant leur corps en p\u00e9ril quand ils se produisent en public, compte tenu des id\u00e9es de vertu morale et des r\u00e8gles genr\u00e9es de l\u2019espace public et priv\u00e9 dans le monde arabo-musulman que les performances musicales mettent au d\u00e9fi&#160;? Deuxi\u00e8mement, comment les m\u00e9dias audiovisuels repr\u00e9sentent-ils la musique comme une partie int\u00e9grante de la vie quotidienne, intimement int\u00e9gr\u00e9e dans le tissu social et culturel d\u2019un pays, devenant ainsi \u00ab&#160;la bande sonore de nos vies&#160;\u00bb dans des p\u00e9riodes particuli\u00e8res et contribuant \u00e0 cimenter le sentiment d\u2019appartenance \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de communaut\u00e9s sp\u00e9cifiques&#160;? De quelle mani\u00e8re la musique est-elle utilis\u00e9e pour raconter l\u2019histoire et saisir l\u2019identit\u00e9 culturelle d\u2019un pays&#160;?
