D\u2019ailleurs, il convient de signaler que peu de spe\u0301cialistes se sont inte\u0301resse\u0301s a\u0300 ce phe\u0301nome\u0300ne transme\u0301diatique et complexe qui sollicite des outils autres que ceux qui rele\u0300vent des codes de la forme cine\u0301matographique et qui soule\u0300ve des proble\u0301matiques affe\u0301rentes a\u0300 la transposition. L\u2019adaptation, une des formes de la transposition, est le processus -l\u2019ope\u0301ration- par lequel on modifie une \u0153uvre. Cette ope\u0301ration a lieu ge\u0301ne\u0301ralement lorsqu\u2019on fait passer cette \u0153uvre, soit d\u2019un genre a\u0300 un autre au sein d\u2019une me\u0302me se\u0301miotique (langage), soit d\u2019une se\u0301miotique a\u0300 une autre. Ce phe\u0301nome\u0300ne peut d\u2019ailleurs s\u2019apparenter au terme de transposition interme\u0301diatique.<\/p>\n<p>La bande dessine\u0301e offre de nombreuses possibilite\u0301s de processus adaptatifs. Qu\u2019elle soit \u0153uvre source ou but, elle entretient en effet des relations avec d\u2019autres me\u0301dias tel que le cine\u0301ma.<br \/>\nIl convient de signaler que le polar qui regroupe trois tendances, le roman d\u2019e\u0301nigme, le roman noir et le roman de suspense peut e\u0302tre transpose\u0301 dans la bande dessine\u0301e polar. Ainsi, en recense-t-on un certain nombre, notamment <em>Le Lotus bleu<\/em> d\u2019Herge\u0301, paru en 1946, en noir et blanc, qui a inspire\u0301 Serge Grieco pour re\u0301aliser un film d\u2019espionnage intitule\u0301, <em>Ope\u0301ration lotus bleu<\/em>, en 1966. De plus, <em>L\u2019I\u0302le noire<\/em> d\u2019Herge\u0301, parue en 1938 chez Casterman a marque\u0301 les se\u0301quences filmiques de Gilles Grangier, <em>Le Cave se rebiffe<\/em>, en 1961&#160;; de me\u0302me <em>Le Secret de la licorne<\/em> d\u2019Herge\u0301, en 1942, est transpose\u0301 a\u0300 l\u2019e\u0301cran, en 2011 sous le titre <em>Les Aventures de Tintin, Le Secret de la licorne<\/em>. La bande dessine\u0301e d\u2019e\u0301nigme au me\u0302me titre que le roman anglo-saxon sous le terme anglais whodunit (contraction \u00ab&#160;who has done it&#160;?&#160;\u00bb, \u00ab&#160;Qui l\u2019a fait&#160;?&#160;\u00bb) de\u0301termine qui est le coupable. Cette remarque fondamentale se trouve dans la plupart des bandes dessine\u0301es que nous venons de citer. Ainsi, le lecteur est-il amene\u0301 a\u0300 se poser ces questions&#160;: Qui est a\u0300 la te\u0302te de l\u2019organisation de trafiquants de drogue&#160;? Qui a perpe\u0301tre\u0301 l\u2019attentat&#160;? Qui a pris le magot&#160;? Qui a vole\u0301 la maquette de la Licorne&#160;?<\/p>\n<p>Notre corpus n\u2019e\u0301tant pas exhaustif, on peut citer, en outre, la bande dessine\u0301e policie\u0300re dite noire dans laquelle on retrouve les me\u0302mes ingre\u0301dients du roman noir des anne\u0301es 20.<br \/>\nDans le re\u0301cit image\u0301 noir, les cliche\u0301s abondent, balisant le genre parfois jusqu\u2019au caricatural. On y trouve souvent les me\u0302mes ingre\u0301dients&#160;: atmosphe\u0300res nocturnes, me\u0301gapoles inquie\u0301tantes aux bas-fonds sordides, personnages profonde\u0301ment noirs aux travers re\u0301currents, les policiers sont corrompus, les femmes sont ve\u0301nales et les politiques sans scrupules co\u0302toient des milieux peu fre\u0301quentables. Le he\u0301ros souvent seul et de\u0301sabuse\u0301 apparai\u0302t pourtant comme le personnage le plus humain et le plus nai\u0308f car pre\u0301sente\u0301 souvent comme de\u0301cale\u0301 ou marginal. Quant a\u0300 la langue inte\u0301grant l\u2019argot des bas-fonds, elle peut s\u2019y faire incisive, acerbe, syncope\u0301e, les dialogues sans finesse et directs visant la me\u0302me efficacite\u0301. Les the\u0300mes de\u0301clinables a\u0300 souhait, sont recense\u0301s dans la bande dessine\u0301e qui inaugure le genre, <em>Dick Tracy,<\/em> un comic strip policier ame\u0301ricain cre\u0301e\u0301 par Chester Gould dans lequel son personnage emble\u0301matique de la BD des anne\u0301es 30 est un de\u0301tective ruse\u0301 mis a\u0300 l\u2019e\u0301cran par Woody Allen dans les anne\u0301es 1990, ou encore la bande dessine\u0301e qui met en sce\u0300ne <em>Spider-man<\/em>, super he\u0301ros justicier re\u0301alise\u0301 par Stan Lee qui apparai\u0302t pour la premie\u0300re fois dans le comic book <em>Amazing Fantasy <\/em>en 1962 dont le dernier opus de Jon Watts est sorti au cine\u0301ma en Juillet 2019, sous le titre <em>Spider-man far&#160;: from home.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A\u0300 cela s\u2019ajoutent les nombreuses bandes dessine\u0301es a\u0300 suspense figurant un personnage en danger, dans un contexte angoissant du compte a\u0300 rebours et de la tension dramatique, de l\u2019attente et de la chute. En ge\u0301ne\u0301ral, l\u2019auteur joue avec les nerfs du lecteur. Dans le me\u0302me esprit, pensons e\u0301galement a\u0300 la se\u0301rie be\u0301de\u0301ique <em>Diabolik&#160;!<\/em>, cre\u0301e\u0301e en 1962 par les s\u0153urs Angela et Luciana Giussani et transpose\u0301e a\u0300 l\u2019e\u0301cran, dans une atmosphe\u0300re a\u0300 la fois pesante et inquie\u0301tante, par le re\u0301alisateur franco-italien Mario Brava (<em>Danger Diabolik&#160;!,<\/em> 1968).<\/p>\n<p>Toujours dans le cadre de la transme\u0301dialite\u0301, menant de la bande dessine\u0301e au polar a\u0300 son adaptation cine\u0301matographique, on peut e\u0301voquer <em>Maigret et son mort<\/em>, roman de Georges Simenon publie\u0301 en 1948 et transpose\u0301 en bande dessine\u0301e en 1992, puis repris dans le cadre d\u2019une se\u0301rie te\u0301le\u0301vise\u0301e britannique avec Rowan Atkinson dans le ro\u0302le du commissaire Maigret.<\/p>\n<p>De ces quelques remarques liminaires e\u0301mergent plusieurs questions&#160;: comment passe-t-on de la bande dessine\u0301e polar au cine\u0301ma polar, par essence repre\u0301sente\u0301 par l\u2019image mobile&#160;? Qu\u2019est-ce qui, au sein d\u2019une bande dessine\u0301e polar transpose\u0301e a\u0300 l\u2019e\u0301cran, nous permet de de\u0301duire qu\u2019il s\u2019agit bien d\u2019un film policier&#160;? Et, plus particulie\u0300rement, d\u2019un film polar&#160;? S\u2019agit-il d\u2019une ambiance, d\u2019un cadre, d\u2019un type de personnage&#160;? Quels sont les moyens ou les outils utilise\u0301s&#160;?<\/p>\n<p>Cette journe\u0301e d&rsquo;e\u0301tudes nous invite a\u0300 poser la question des rapports entre les films policiers et la bande dessine\u0301e polar. Plus pre\u0301cise\u0301ment, nous verrons les modalite\u0301s de la bande dessine\u0301e polar mise en image. Il s&rsquo;agira d&rsquo;examiner la tension existant entre la bande dessine\u0301e polar et sa transposition filmique qui rele\u0300ve du genre noir\/ou du policier.<\/p>\n<p>Dans ce sens, nous proposons une re\u0301flexion autour de la transposition de la bande dessine\u0301e de genre policier au cine\u0301ma mais aussi autour des questions, des critiques qu\u2019elle ne manque pas de soulever, autour des enjeux et des rapports complexes que suscite ce phe\u0301nome\u0300ne transge\u0301ne\u0301rique.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Modalite\u0301s de soumission<br
